Beautiful vintage print by Norwegian artist Carl Frithjof Tidemand-Johannesburg (1916-1958).  He was a well known artist prolific in the 1940s and 50s. With his beautiful woodcut prints as well as graphics and stained glass.  For many years he printed on paper but latterly he printed large unnumbered editions of woodcuts on a manual book printing press, on specially prepared wooden panels.  This is one of those panels.  A beautiful depiction of nesting sea birds flying and nesting on a cliff face in the midnight sun.
